Parents who live in households designated “second family” may request to be placed on a mailing list to receive a copy of their child’s report card, progress reports, and other official school information. Second family parents may also make arrangements with the school or a child’s teacher to pick up other non-essential information such as newsletters and classroom notices or may bring in a supply of self-addressed, stamped envelopes to receive them in the mail. Academic progress, attendance and schedule information can also be tracked from home through “Family Access,” an Internet-based program that is integrated with the school’s computer system. Passwords for Family Access are available by contacting the school’s technology coordinator, Rob Marlatt, and anyone interested in receiving a password should e-mail him at marlattr@ccabr.org. |
