John grew up in Wallingford, Connecticut playing every sport he could possibly manage! He came to play football at Ferris State University in 1998 and has been here ever since. John has played baseball since he could walk (and probably before he could talk!) As a kid, he played on traveling soccer and baseball teams as well as basketball and Pop-Warner football. In his prep career at Lyman Hall High School, he was a 4-year letter winner in baseball earning many awards. He was also an all-area football player. John returns for his third season with the Cougars. He is waiting to see what this year brings in a new conference. He is already very impressed with the hard work and dedication the guys are showcasing and is looking forward to a great season. Returning for the Cougars are 2-time league MVP, Stephen Shrable along with Zac VanderGoot, Aaron Mabry, Matt Wissink and Justin Frisbee. The experience these guys bring to the team will be an intrigual part of the Cougars success this season. The Cougars play all of their home games and Win Kellum field. Come out and support these guys and all of their hard work! |

First Game: Lost 16-1
Trevor Smith went 1-2 with a Run Scored. Justin Frisbie went 1-2
with a RBI. Tanner Mitchell went 1-2 with a stolen base and Zach Vander
Goot added a hit.
Second Game: Lost 18-8
Leading 8-0 with 2 innings to go Crossroads ran out of gas and ending up
losing 18-8. Trevor Smith pitched 3 solid innings. Crossroads walked 8
runs in and had 5 Errors in the final two innings.
Leading with one hit in the game was Trevor Smith. Matt Wissink and
Stephen Shrable had a RBI each. Stephae had 4 stolen bases and Aaron
Mabry had 2.
