Welcome to Mrs. Alexander's Fourth Grade!

Hello!  Welcome to Miss Bell's home page!  I am a third year teacher here at CCA. I graduated from CMU in May of 2005. I was thrilled to begin my teaching career with such a wonderful start!  Our fourth grade class has learned about many new things so far; however, we are really focusing on being respectful and responsible students!  I am very excited about what the future will bring.   Listed below is our daily schedule:

8:00-8:25 Attendance, lunch count, Hand Writing

8:25-9:25 Open Court Reading (Our Language Arts Curriculum) this includes reading, spelling, vocabulary, grammar components, writing, and workshop

9:30-10:10 MATH

10:10  SNACK/SHORT BATHROOM  BREAK BEFORE RECESS

10:20-10:40 RECESS

10:45-11:30 Continue Open Court Reading

11:35-12:15  SOCIAL STUDIES

12:20-1:00 LUNCH/AFTERNOON RECESS

1:10-1:55 Students switch classrooms for Science (Karen Dunn will be their teacher for this subject)

1:50 SHORT BATHROOM BREAK

1:50-2:25 AR or Silent Reading

2:30-3:15 We have a special at this time every day.
