Elementary Music

For the first couple of weeks in music class, we will be getting used to the rules and routines that I use while teaching.  Since I only get to see the students once a week, each session is crucial, and I want to get as much learning as possible done in each period.  The following are my general rules for each classroom:

• Be Respectful

• Be Safe

• Do Your Best

• Participate

• Have Fun

The bulk of the music grade at each quarter will be based on a student's willingness and success in participation.  I do not expect every student to be an aspiring musician, but I do expect each student to do the best that they are able to do, and to give a whole-hearted attempt at doing what I ask.
