My mission is to teach to the whole child and enable students to reach their highest possible potential- academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.  I will encourage students to believe in themselves and empower them to become independent, life long learners.  I will instill in them the values of respect, diligence, compassion, and humor.  I recognize that each child comes from a different background and has unique needs; therefore I will treat them as individuals in both instruction and personal interactions.  I will establish high expectations for each and every student and hold them responsible for meeting these expectations.  I will make a positive impact on each student who enters my classroom and help him or her realize that they have the power to make their dreams come true.
