My philosophy on coaching is that as a team we should out work our competition and ourselves.  The team should start early and finish strong being both physically strong as well as mentally, constantly challenging our skills, breaking them down and making them stronger.  We are a team first and an individual last. We work together to accomplish goals that we otherwise could not.

The Varsity Volleyball team finished their season last night falling short in the District Championship against Providence Christian.  The scores 25-14, 25-21, 25-22
 
The Ladies officially placed 2nd in the West Michigan "D" League and made it to the District Championship!  Congratulations Ladies on a great season!

10/2/07 played Mason County East and lost 25-19, 25-19, 25-10 won one 25-15
10/6/07 played in the Benzie Invitational played Northport, Benzie, Pentwater, Buckley, Grayling and Kingsley.  placed third with a record of 4-3 Grace Kingsley won MVP
10/9/07 played Onekema and won 25-19, 25-19, 25-5
10/13/07 played in the MCE tournament.  Played Manton, Hart, Baldwin, and Mescik.  placed third with a record of 2-2
10/16/07 played Pentwater won 25-9, 25-21, 25-15, and lost one game 28-26
10/18/07 played Walkerville won 25-15, 25-9, 25-12
10/22/07 played in the West Michigan "D" League  Defeated Bear Lake, Onekema, Walkerville, and Manistee Catholic and lost to MCE.  Placed 2nd with a record of 4-1. 
The Lady Cougars placed second in the West Michigan "D" League
10/25/07  Played Providence Christian Lost 25-18, 25-22, 29-27

 

9-27-07  Varsity played the Bear Lake Lakers and we defeated them 29-27, 19-25, 25-16, 26-24
