Governor Whitmer Order

Governor Gretchen Whitmer has announced that in order to slow the spread of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in Michigan, she has ordered the closure of all K-12 schools starting Monday, March 16 until Sunday, April 5. School buildings are scheduled to reopen on Monday, April 6. The order does allow school to remain open tomorrow, March 13. CCA will be in session tomorrow. However, as our partners in education, the decision of whether or not to send your child is up to you as a parent. Staff and teachers must report tomorrow.

CCA Offering Food During Closure

CCA will begin distributing meals beginning Thursday, March 19 from 10am-12pm. For the next three Thursdays (March 19, 26, and April 2), we will offer a week’s worth of meals (breakfast, lunch, and a snack) available for pick up in the front drive of the middle/high school. We will bring the food to your car. PLEASE do not enter the building. Food will be provided at no cost to any students in grades K-12. We encourage ALL families to participate. Your child does not need to be present to receive food. A parent, guardian or trusted adult may pick up for all children in the household. If you would like to participate, be sure to email Lee Ann Martin, martinl@ccabr.org so that we can make sure we have enough food available.
